Additionally, JLR & Associates will help you to market your programs and intercedes to investigate and solve employee specific issues. Moreover, JLR & Associates' experiences and knowledgeable staff are there to help design and manage all aspects of a comprehensive benefit strategy and provide you with the informational resources to stay up to date with industry developments.

The ultimate goal of JLR & Associates LLC is to provide premier service to all its clients at a cost that is affordable. JLR & Associates strives to maintain an open communication with its clients, so it can best meet their benefit and service needs.

History and Background

JLR & Associates LLC was founded as an independent agency specializing in all areas of employee benefit packages that meet the needs of today's employers. Jim Rivetts, owner and president, began JLR & Associates in 1987 after leaving the Vice President position of a well-regarded national property/casualty brokerage house. As a licensed broker in the areas of Life, Disability, Health, and Property & Casualty, Jim presently focuses his business only on group healthcare benefits to allow him to customize different approaches based on each individual client's needs.

Meet The Team

James L. Rivetts - President
Jim has been in the insurance industry since 1975.  Originally, he was an agent for a major life insurance company and Vice President of a large national property casualty brokerage house.  In 1987, he opened his own agency, JLR & Associates LLC.  Currently, he holds a Life & Disability license in the states of Washington, California, Oregon, Nevada, Indiana, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska.  Additionally, Jim holds a property and casualty license in the state of Washington.

Holly (Rivetts) Hahn – Sr. Vice President
Holly graduated from Western Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Finance.  Subsequently, Holly honed her business skills while working in the Accounting Department for a major corporation for two years before joining the Sales staff at JLR & Associates LLC.  She holds a Life & Disability agent’s license in the state of Washington, and is also licensed to sell variable life and annuity products in the state of Washington as well.
 
Roy Hahn – Vice President
Roy joined JLR & Associates LLC as Sales Executive and President of Mongoose LLC, a COBRA compliance administration company, in May 2000.  He is a valued sales representative who strives to be creative in resolving issues of every client.  Roy holds a Life & Disability agent’s license in the state of Washington

Pam Moynahan – Employee Benefits Specialist
Pam joined JLR & Associates LLC as our lead Customer Service Specialist.  She has gained extensive customer service experience working for one of the largest Equine Practices on the West Coast.  Additionally, Pam is one of JLR & Associate’s key employees and is the Trust Manager for  the HIHIT program.  Pam holds a Life & Disability agent’s license in the state of Washington.

Amber Hahn – Employee Benefits Specialist
Amber graduated from City University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.  She has vast experience in office management and customer service.  Amber has become an asset for JLR & Associates and is the Trust Representative for the  HIHIT team.  Amber holds a Life & Disability agent’s license in the state of Washington.

Anessa Willson – Sr. Customer Service Specialist
Anessa joined JLR & Associates LLC as a Customer Service Specialist in September 2002.  Prior to joining the team she had five years of valuable customer service experience at Covington Water District.  Anessa has developed strong customer service skills and handles many office issues.

Scott Sorensen
Scott graduated from Washington State University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resource Sciences.  Scott has been with JLR & Associates since 2001 and handles most of the day-to-day COBRA Administration for Mongoose LLC, as well as servicing clients with individual health insurance needs.  Scott currently holds a Life & Disability agents' license in the state of Washington.

Nancy Wells - Customer Service Specialist
Nancy joined JLR & Associates LLC in 2007 as a Customer Service Specialist. Nancy previously worked in the insurance industry as an agent at a large insurance company.
